Roman and Byzantine Intensive Mosaic 3-Day Course: Join me for an immersive 3-day mosaic course, where you’ll master the ancient art of mosaic creation. Perfect for all skill levels—no prior experience needed!
What You’ll Learn:
Craft mosaics using time-honored techniques, including cutting smalti glass, marble, and stone with traditional tools like the hammer and hardie, unchanged since Roman times.
Create two unique mosaic projects:
Roman/Byzantine mosaic (10" x 10") using the Ravenna Technique, with a variety of subjects to choose from.
Roman Knot mosaic (6" x 6") using the Direct technique.
Course Details:
When: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM daily, with a 1 hour lunch break.
Where: 740 W Elm St Phoenix, Az 85013 (near lightrail, hotel, restaurants & grocery)
