Roman and Byzantine Mosaic 3-Day Course: Join me for an immersive 3-day mosaic course, where you’ll master the ancient art of mosaic creation. Perfect for all skill levels—no prior experience needed!

What You’ll Learn:

Craft mosaics using time-honored techniques, including cutting smalti glass, marble, and stone with traditional tools like the hammer and hardie, unchanged since Roman times.

Create two unique mosaic projects:

Roman/Byzantine Copy (10" x 10") using the Double Reverse technique, with a variety of subjects to choose from.

Modern Mosaic Work (6" x 6") using the Direct technique.

Course Details:

When: 10 AM – 6 PM daily, with a lunch break.

Where: Inside the X Phoenix conference venue (200 W Monroe St, Phoenix, AZ 85003)

Price: $550, all materials included.

Class Size: Limited to 4 students for personalized attention.

Outcome: Take home two wall-ready mosaics crafted by you!
